On the train
-Edmund burke
The
first time I was travelling by a train
The
weather was humid and it was
About
to rain.
As I
gazed outside from my seat,
I
could see the approaching clouds
Sweeping
away the heat.
The
lush green fields swayed in the breeze,
Home
coming birds flew down with ease.
A four
year old boy came asking for food,
This
sight changed my mood.
I gave
a share of food to the boy.
And
could see in his face a glimpse of joy.
Strange,
we claim India to be
developed
nation.
Where
millions still cannot afford ration.
Thousands
starve to sickness and death,
As I
wondered about the life more and more,
I only
felt only depressed and sore.
The
train journey lucidly depicts human life,
And
teachers us to care for the less fortunate.
